- Turmeric powder- ½ teaspoon
- Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
- Panko Breadcrumbs- 1 cup

- Add the thinly sliced onions, chopped cilantro, chickpea flour, rice flour, crushed coriander, turmeric, cumin, red chili powder, and salt to a large mixing bowl. Stir the flour mixture into the onions until they are evenly coated.
- Little by little, add water and stir until a thick batter forms that thoroughly coats the onions. Make sure the batter is not overly thin.
